How much do you know about dead bodies? Embalming? Funerals? Cremation?
It’s ok to be curious. This is a safe place to explore the things people are afraid to talk about.
I’ll help dispel popular myths and misconceptions. I can alleviate your fear and discomfort by giving you a deeper understanding. We can take a look at how intertwined death and funerals are within our culture. Let’s enjoy a little dark humor too.
Dig in. Don’t be afraid to learn something new.

Grief tips, funeral facts, and a “dissection”
of the lighter side of death (movies and books)!
What if you could learn about death and funerals by coloring, playing games, and deciphering puzzles?
Funeral Fun! is designed for adults to explore the funeral process and start thinking about their own wishes. It’s factual without being grim and depressing! Bonus: it includes dead paper dolls and funeral accessories!
Funeral Fun! Adult Activity & Coloring Book was featured on Kickstarter as a “Project We Love!”
The crowdfunding campaign ended successfully on October 27, 2022. Once the book has been completed, the funds raised will pay for printing and distribution to the backers who supported the campaign.
After that, the book will become available to the general public!

His & Hearse Racing Team
H&H Press sponsors an automotive racing team. The adults do demolition derby, democross, and figure 8’s. Their three children each began dirt kart racing at five years old. Adorable!
Krona Rex the Dinosaur
When you have an 8 foot tall T. Rex in your front yard, you have to dress it up for holidays. It’s good silly fun. We can all use a whimsical diversion from reality, right?
Helicopter
If there’s a massive dinosaur in the front yard, what could possibly be in the backyard? A Huey HH-1K Iroquois helicopter, repurposed into a kids playground!

Confused about estate planning?
Me too!
As a funeral director and embalmer, I’m aware of how important it is to organize your affairs prior to death. It’s not my area of expertise though.
I’m happy to refer you to Buried In Work instead.
They offer:
Free resources and guidance about complex end-of-life paperwork
Free checklists, templates, and helpful articles
Introductions to types of legal documents
Form letters for closing accounts and memberships after a death
How to initiate a discussion about estate and end-of-life planning
A short “how prepared are you?” quiz
A collection of paid packages to organize and track the incomprehensible amount of paperwork involved in estate planning (extremely helpful)
Transparency: This partnership with Buried In Work is mutually beneficial, since they’re sharing my funeral blogs with their audience and I’m sharing their content with you. I may receive a small commission for any purchases you make in their shop using my code. Regardless, I would still encourage you to use this resource to learn about the topics outside of my expertise.
